Dear editor,
I usually enjoy reading the Woods newspaper. I think timely topics are addressed thoughtfully. But… I have to comment on one of the responses to the recent presidential election. I thought it was both offensive and prejudicial to refer to Senator McCain as a geriatric s.o.b.!!! I as a Sister of Providence alumnae, on my way to being geriatric am offended,
as well as embarrassed by this language from one of our Woods students.
I believe in freedom of speech but I think this goes too far. Thank you for listening.
